يمكن لتصحيح النظر بالليزر أن يقلّل الاعتماد على النظارة أو العدسات اللاصقة — لكن الخطوة الأولى هي تحديد ما إذا كانت عينك مناسبة للجراحة أصلًا.
Suitability comes first — not the procedure.
نبدأ بالأهلية — لا باختيار الإجراء.
Before any laser, we screen your eyes: corneal thickness and shape, prescription stability, dryness, pupil size, and how you use your vision. Only then do we discuss which option fits.
قبل أي ليزر، نفحص عينيك: سُمك القرنية وشكلها، واستقرار المقاس، وجفاف العين، وحجم البؤبؤ، وكيفية استخدامك لرؤيتك. عندها فقط نناقش الخيار الأنسب.
Femto-LASIK
A femtosecond laser creates a thin corneal flap, then an excimer laser gently reshapes the cornea beneath it before the flap is laid back in place. Well-established, with a fast visual recovery for suitable eyes.
يُستخدم ليزر الفيمتو ثانية لعمل طبقة رقيقة في القرنية، ثم يُعيد ليزر الإكزيمر تشكيل القرنية تحتها بلطف، وتُعاد الطبقة مكانها. إجراء راسخ ومعروف، مع تعافٍ بصري سريع في العيون المناسبة.
Femto-SMILE Proفيمتو سمايل برو
A small-incision, flapless procedure. The laser shapes a thin layer (a lenticule) inside the cornea, which is then removed through a very small opening — no flap is created. Suited to selected eyes after screening.
إجراء بفتحة صغيرة ومن دون رفع طبقه من القرنيه. يشكّل الليزر طبقة رقيقة (عدسة دقيقة) داخل القرنية، ثم تُزال عبر فتحة صغيرة جدًا — مناسب لعيون مختارة بعد الفحص.
Who tends to be a candidateمَن يكون عادةً مرشّحًا للعملية
I do not like to start a refractive consultation by asking which laser procedure the patient wants. I prefer to start by asking whether the eye is suitable for laser correction at all — then we discuss which option makes sense.

Diabetes can quietly damage the small vessels of the retina. We screen for diabetic retinopathy and macular edema, treat with injections or laser when needed, and monitor over time so changes are caught early.
يمكن للسكري أن يُتلف بهدوء الأوعية الدقيقة في الشبكية. نفحص للكشف عن اعتلال الشبكية السكري وتورّم المركز (الوذمة البقعية)، ونعالج بالحقن أو الليزر عند الحاجة، ونتابع مع الوقت حتى تُكتشف التغيّرات مبكرًا.
Some conditions need surgery inside the eye: retinal detachment, macular hole, epiretinal membrane or vitreous hemorrhage. These are the back-of-eye operations many surgeons refer away.
بعض الحالات تحتاج إلى جراحة داخل العين: انفصال الشبكية، أو ثقب البقعة، أو الغشاء فوق الشبكي، أو نزيف الجسم الزجاجي. هذه جراحات مؤخرة العين التي يحيلها كثير من الجرّاحين إلى غيرهم.

It depends on your corneal thickness and shape, prescription stability, dry eye and pupil size — not on which procedure you prefer. We screen your eyes first, then discuss whether Femto-LASIK, Femto-SMILE Pro, or neither is right for you.

Seek a prompt check for sudden floaters, flashes of light, a curtain or shadow over your vision, sudden blurring, or straight lines that look bent — especially if you have diabetes. Early assessment protects vision.
